But many Israelis who are not especially religious are also beginning to subscribe to this increasingly extreme ethnonationalist ideology. Since the October 7 attacks, the Israeli right wing has grown even more radical.

BRIAN BERLETIC—US foreign and domestic policy is developed with think tanks funded by the most powerful corporate-financier interests across the West Policy papers published by these think tanks are turned into bills by lawyers, brought to Washington by lobbyists, and signed off by Congress and the White House regardless of political affiliation or supposed political agenda. Multipolarism has challenged US political, military, and economic power by creating alternatives to the corporate-financier monopolies in the West driving US policies at home and abroad. Americans can create a better balance of power by redirecting their monthly income, time, energy, and attention away from these corporate-financier interests and toward local and foreign alternatives.

Biden for example, pretended to intervene to force Israel to act with less brutality; the media, charged after all with reporting on basic reality, faced with such a colossal crime already discussed on the Internet, a crime already recognised by even the international tribunals, have also begun to present portions of the truth, obviously much too late and with great reluctance, while cushioning their narrative with all possible qualifiers (“Hamas brutal attack…yada yada, etc.). 

ALEKS—Much of what we will discuss in this article will deal with the number of Russian casualties, as alluded to in the introduction. Russia suffered a horrendous number of dead soldiers within the first few weeks of the conflict, maybe up to 10,000. That’s the price of big arrows on modern battlefields with full intelligence/information/reconnaissance/artillery/drone coverage of the battlefields.

However, (up to) 10,000 dead is still a price that would have been worth paying to achieve the goals in Ukraine without going into a full-scale war. Had there been an agreement in Istanbul that would have terminated the conflict, ensured the rights of Russians in Ukraine, and kept Ukraine out of NATO and NATO out of Ukraine, one could remotely argue that “it was worth it.”

We all know what happened instead. As with all agreements that are not guaranteed with a gun on the West’s head, the West will ignore or scrap it at will. As happened with the Istanbul agreement.
