THIERRY MEYSSAN—In the document of March 31, Russia recalls that its special military operation in Ukraine is authorized by article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations. It refers to the attack planned by the Ukrainian government against the Donbas, of which it has since published one of the annotated texts by the hands of the Ukrainian chiefs of staff. It is therefore understandable that the recognition of the Donbass Republics as independent allied states of Russia ( the day before the special operation ) was a necessary condition for article 51 to apply.

BHADRAKUMAR—Finland’s NATO membership would extend NATO’s frontline with Russia by 1,300 kilometers (length of border Finland shares with Russia), which will put more pressure on Russia’s northwestern regions. Don’t be surprised if NATO missiles are deployed to Finland at some point, leaving Russia no option but to deploy its nuclear weapons close to the Baltic region and Scandinavia.

ERIC ZUESSE—The source of the International Criminal Court’s charges in its 17 March 2023 criminal arrest warrant against Putin was, according to Loffredo and Blumenthal, probably the 14 February 2023, 34-page, report, by the Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) of the Yale School of Public Health, titled “Russia’s Systematic Program for the Re-Education & Adoption of Ukraine’s Children”. (The arrest warrant itself did not say.).
