If any of you think that some hodgepodge of long discredited socialist party, communist party and raging anarchists are going to help move France forward, we don't agree.
Had Le Pen's party won there probably would have been no more arms to Ukraine, and a death knell for the EU and another nail in the coffin of NATO. They also would have reversed Macron's austerity measures. Russia would have been invited into Europe to provide cheap gas.

Contrary to the usual left formula, Le Pen is not a fascist. There is a fascist party in France who are against Muslims but they are small and isolated. My prediction is that this "popular front" will do none of these things listed above. In fact they will look like the SPD and the German Greens in six months. Europe will be an even greater vassalage than it is now. When a CIA rag like the New York Times roots for this "left" there is something that smells rotten in Denmark.
I will wager anyone about my prediction. This is a defeat for the multipolar world. The French people have not yet learned to think like internationalists. This is not 1968 anymore. Although they claim to hate Americans they don't hate them enough to realize that Mordor is ultimately the cause of their misery.
(Nor do most of the rest of Europe, at least not yet.)

Freedom Rider: The ICC is Criminal

The International Criminal Court (ICC) is despite its name, a court that advances the cause of criminality. It acts in concert with the most powerful nations on Earth, and allows them to engage in crimes of aggression against millions of people all over the world. Only the powerless are ever punishedand the aggressors use the court to behave as if they were the injured parties.
The world sees this institution in a benevolent light, assuming that it is a means of protecting humanity from the whims of evil doers in high places. Yet after nine years of existence, the ICC has managed to prosecute mostly little-known African dictators and a few Serbians thrown in for good measure.
Ironically, after having opposed the establishment of the ICC and after failing to ratify the treaty that brought it into existence, the United States is now its biggest cheerleader. The Bush administration was terrified that Americans, including Bush, Cheney and the rest of their henchmen and women, might be punished for their transgressions around the world.
It is strange that after instigating the killings of thousands of people in Iraq, that neither Georg W. Bush nor Tony Blair have any reason to fear being brought to justice. They travel around the world, unafraid of punishment, giving speeches, writing books, making money, and having no worries whatever about getting their just deserts.

They had even less reason to worry after Barack Obama succeeded them. As the more effective evil, Obama knew that he needed to eschew Bush regime ham handedness in international relations. While simultaneously refraining from ratifying the treaty which brought the ICC into existence, Obama and company constantly offer up others to put in the dock in the Hague.
Last year Barack Obama, David Cameron and Nicholas Sarkozy decided to carve up Libya, using NATO to do their dirty work, killing an untold number of civilians in the process, and they too have no fear of prosecution. Lead ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said as much while the crime was being committed, openly taking the side of the West. Moreno-Ocampo lied to the world, claiming that the Libyan government distributed Viagra to soldiers in order to use rape as a “weapon of war.“
The charge was a lie, made up out of whole cloth. If there was any pretense of ICC impartiality, Moreno-Ocampo himself dispelled any such notion. The anything but disinterested prosecutor is now featured in the latest Kony 2012 video, ending any debate about whether or not the phony, web driven, ginned up outrage has any standing in reality or truthfulness.

While Obama and Clinton try to scuttle Kofi Annn’s Syrian peace plan and hint at President Assad’s prosecution before the ICC, the ICC shows its true colors. When Palestinians petitioned the ICC to investigate war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza, they were turned away. Moreno-Ocampo determined that because Palestine has not been recognized by U.N. General Assembly it has no standing to seek justice for the 2,000 people massacred by Israel in 2008 and 2009. The hypocrisy is blatant, and proves that the United States and its allies present the greatest threats to peace in the world.
At the United National Antiwar Coalition conference last month, this columnist asked professor and author Vijay Prashad why the ICC prosecutes Africans and token Serbs, but never threatens anyone in Washington, London, Paris or Jerusalem. His answer was simple. “It is just international racism. I think there is no (other) way to explain it.”
George Orwell said, “Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.” Those words are still true, humanitarian missions and “responsibility to protect” are in fact euphemisms meant to promote good old-fashioned imperialism.
The fact is that the United States, Israel and their European allies never protect anybody. They continue doing what they have done for decades, deciding who is inconvenient and therefore disposal. The human toll is “collateral damage” and quickly forgotten.

There are of course people and nations who cause other human beings great suffering in the world. They should be stopped, but they should all be stopped. Joseph Kony has actually killed fewer people than the president of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, but Museveni is a friend of the United States, so no social media campaign will be directed at getting him before the ICC.
Until there is greater justice in the world, that is to say when the rich capitalist nations have rivals for power, perhaps a court dedicated to punishing human rights violations would be a viable option. Right now it is fairly useless, because it was not created by people with honest intent.
Perhaps a simple name change is in order. Is Court for International Criminals a better name? How about Criminal Court International? For once, political language would be honest and George Orwell would be proven wrong.

Dopey Republican pundits and politicians have begun claiming that Joe Biden has “abandoned Israel” and has fallen under the control of Hamas, because this is a presidential election year and everything needs to be ten times dumber than usual.
Donald Trump said on the campaign trail on Wednesday that “Any Jewish person that votes for a Democrat or votes for Biden should have their head examined,” saying of Biden, “He totally abandoned Israel.”
Trump’s comments were made in response to Biden saying that Israel should declare a ceasefire of six to eight weeks, seemingly suggesting that Israel should do so without conditioning the ceasefire on the release of Israeli hostages. This hopeful statement was swiftly dispelled by Biden himself, however, with the president reiterating the same keep-killing-children-until-Hamas-gives-us-everything-we-want position that this administration has stood by for six months. Apparently Biden’s dementia-addled brain is just struggling to keep its story straight.
Meanwhile Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro has been pushing the narrative that Biden has “saved” Hamas by capitulating to demands from the left on Gaza, going so far as to declare that “Hamas is now in control of the Biden administration.”
To be clear, this is all foam-brained nonsense. Biden has spent six months pouring weapons of mass murder into Israel without any conditions whatsoever, and his administration has been justifying and spinning and making excuses for all of Israel’s heinous actions in Gaza this entire time. No US president in history has done more to directly serve the murderousness of the Israeli war machine than Joe Biden.
Right to this very day the president is declaring “ironclad” support for Israel as fears mount that Iran may retaliate for the Israeli strike on its consulate building in Syria which killed multiple Iranian military officers, despite the fact that Iran has made it clear to the White House that if the US comes to Israel’s defense it will make the US a target as well. Biden is so fanatically pro-Israel that we could be near the precipice of the worst-case nightmare scenario of all possible middle eastern conflicts because of his unwavering support for the genocidal apartheid state.
If Republicans and Democrats were forced to campaign against each other solely on issues in which they truly disagreed, they’d have very little to talk about, and it would give the whole two-party scam away.
In reality, the only reason Republicans have begun trying to frame Biden as anti-Israel is because only through fiction and fantasy can America’s two mainstream parties pretend there are any significant differences between them. They’re both insanely supportive of Israel and its crimes. They both support war, militarism, imperialism, capitalism and oligarchy. The only areas in which there’s any meaningful disagreement between them are the issues that don’t inconvenience the powerful in any way like whether or not you’re allowed to have an abortion or whether it’s good or bad to be mean to trans people — and even those issues are only used to keep everyone’s interest and attention locked into mainstream politics and diverted from revolutionary sentiment.
So they make up these moronic fictional battlegrounds to fight on, because that’s the only way they can actually have anything to fight about. Joe Biden is a Hamas agent. Donald Trump is a Kremlin agent. Joe Biden is controlled by “the CCP”. Donald Trump is going to be another Hitler instead of another shitty Republican. The Democrats want to steal your guns and make your son wear a dress. The Republicans want to dismantle NATO and let Vladimir Putin take over the world.
Below, the Don. How's this for colossal dishonesty or colossal ignorance? Or both?
Absolutely none of this is real, but if Republicans and Democrats were forced to campaign against each other solely on issues in which they truly disagreed, they’d have very little to talk about, and it would give the whole two-party scam away. Before you know it you’d have them arguing about things like whether it would be best to ramp up nuclear aggressions with China first or prioritize taking out Russia, and people would start to notice that neither of these parties have the interests of normal human beings at heart.
So they keep up their kayfabe combat schtick, and sell it as hard as they can to make sure as many Americans as possible are clapping along to the pretend drama of the two-handed puppet show.
Can’t wait til this election is over and done with so we can go back to the normal levels of stupid.

Rajab drew worldwide attention following the publication of her desperate plea for help as she sat surrounded by relatives slain by Israeli troops. Two paramedics sent to rescue the child were also killed by Israeli forces.

The decomposing body of a missing young Palestinian girl was found Saturday in Gaza surrounded by her dead relatives in a bullet-ridden, tank-crushed car near a blasted ambulance and the bodies of two paramedics killed by Israeli troops while trying to save the child.
The plight of 6-year-old Hind Rajab drew worldwide attention after the Palestine Red Crescent Society published a recording of a desperate phone call made by her 15-year-old cousin Layan Hamadeh to the PRCS as her family came under Israeli tank attack while trying to flee to safety in their car in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of southern Gaza City at dusk on January 29.

“They are shooting at us. The tank is right next to me. We’re in the car, the tank is right next to us,” Hamadeh said before screaming as gunfire erupts and the call goes silent.

Along with Hamadeh, Rajab’s aunt, uncle, and two other cousins were killed. But Rajab—who was wounded in the back and hand—initially survived.
“Come take me. Will you come and take me?” she begged PRCS dispatcher Rana al-Faqeh over the phone, telling her that she was afraid of the dark. “I’m so scared, please come!”
An ambulance was dispatched to rescue Rajab. But it, too, came under Israeli attack, and crew members Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun were killed.

In a statement, the PRCS alleged that Israeli forces “deliberately targeted the Red Crescent crew despite prior coordination to allow the ambulance to arrive at the site to rescue Hind.”
PRCS spokesperson Nebal Farsakh toldThe Guardian that Israeli officials gave the ambulance a “green light” to enter the area.
“First [the paramedics] said the Israeli forces are putting laser lights on them,” Farsakh said. “And then we heard a gunfire sound before we lost the connection. It was like a gunfire or explosion, we were not sure of what happened.”
“We have very clear Red Cross emblems on top of all of our ambulances,” she added. “This is horrible because when we have waited so many hours, leaving Hind appealing to us, crying, saying please come pick me up, and then, unfortunately, although we have waited all of these hours to guarantee our safe access, it wasn’t a safe access.”

Referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Joe Biden, Wissam Najab, Hind’s mother, told Al Jazeera that “God will punish Netanyahu and Biden and all those who conspire against us and deprived me of my daughter.”
The Israel Defense Forces said it was “looking into” the incident.
Human rights defenders accused Israel of yet another war crime in its genocidal onslaught against Gaza. Since launching its retaliatory war after the October 7 Hamas-led attacks, Israeli forces have killed more than 28,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, while wounding over 67,600 others and leaving over 8,000 people missing and feared buried beneath rubble.
At least 12,150 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli bombs and bullets, according to Gaza officials. Witnesses say some of these children were executed in cold-blooded massacres.
