PROFESSOR JEFFREY SACHS schools Tucker on the ugly realities behind Washington’s unilaterally launched Cold War 2.0, and the basic, undeniable facts about the US neocons’ criminal adventure in Ukraine.
GREAT HYPOCRISY

EDITOR—The main lesson of Covid, says Garland, is never trust the Government. Do your own research, do your thinking before adopting any position. Why should we trust a government, a ruling elite, that has committed enormous crimes in practically all continents and continues to do so, while lying through their teeth? Why should the American people think that a depraved ruling class that has engaged in many wars of choice, regime changes and so on, and is even now actively plotting more, causing incalculable suffering around the globe, all for self-enrichment, not the highfalutin ideals like “freedom” or “democracy” or “human rights” they always told the people, is going to suddenly become good and virtuous in their behaviour toward the American people? Why should a plutocracy, a bunch of billionaires with no real national attachment to any country, who follow nothing but the pursuit of wealth, be trusted with most of the major decisions in our lives? The Covid timeline alone should have alerted us, adds, Garland. But apparently it didn’t.

The Jeffrey Sachs-Tucker Carlson interview: the most important interview ever?
by Thomas Fazi180 Mins readTHOMAS FAZI—[Quoting Jeffrey Sachs]—”[Saying that Russia’s invasions of Ukraine was unprovoked is] very dangerous because it’s wrong. It gets the whole story completely wrong, and it misunderstands the trap that we set for ourselves as the United states to push Ukraine deeper and deeper and deeper into this hopeless mess that they’re in right now.
Basically, it started very simply, which is that the United States government — let’s not call it the US people, they had nothing to do with this — but the US government said: “We’re going to put Ukraine on our side and we’re going to go right up to that 2,100 kilometre border with Russian. We’re going to put our troops and NATO and maybe missiles, whatever we want, because we are the sole superpower of the world and we do what we want”.
And it goes back, actually a long way. It goes back 170 years. The Brits had this idea, first surround Russia in the Black Sea region, and Russia’s not a great power anymore. And that was Lord Palmerston’s idea in the Crimean War, 1853 to 1856. And the Brits taught us what we know about empire, and they basically taught us the idea…”

EDITOR—From the all-white 1950s/60s TV to the all-BUT-white programming in the age of wokery, the propaganda pendulum has swung 100%, and the stupid and shameless manipulators expect us to swallow this repulsive switch. As usual, just like in the “Eisenhower years”, when everyone was white and middle class, to our new age in which whites are hard to find even in TV commercials, and everyone is blissfully “diverse”, the pretension is that America is a model of fairness and the world’s foremost bastion of human rights. Garland is justifiably nauseated by the hypocrisy, the relentless virtue signalling, while the same influential crowd seems deaf and blind to the sickening depravity of Israeli crimes in Gaza and the proliferation of Neo-Nazis in Ukraine and beyond, not to mention the US-led global slide toward nuclear war.

LARRY JOHNSON—It may be that the West, stupidly in my view, sees this as a baited trap to lure Russia to intervene if the color revolution picks up steam. I believe that Russia, in light of its failure to respond to the Maidan revolution in 2014, is not going to sit passively and see how things work out. At a minimum, Russia’s intelligence service is probably passing information to its intelligence counterparts in Tbilisi about the identities of foreign operators working to manufacture chaos and the source of the funds pouring into Georgia.
