RON UNZ—I was hardly the only person to notice the massive implications of Nuland’s apparent disclosure. Glenn Greenwald ranks as one of the world’s highest-profile journalists, and he quickly released a lengthy column yesterday morning laying out the facts, and noting that our official media fact-checkers had spent a couple of weeks denouncing and ridiculing accusations that now seem to have turned out to be true.

Talking Russia-Ukraine with Ben Norton of Multipolarista
3 minutes readBen Norton of Multipolarista joins us to discuss Russian military operations in Ukraine including the role Nazism plays in Ukraine’s current regime, how it was cultivated deliberately by the US and its allies since 2014, and how the Western media is attempting to deflect away from just how serious this threat is to both the Ukrainian people and Ukraine’s neighbors.

P. GREANVILLE—So, yea, Tucker is a flawed vector for genuinely progressive messages. And yet—this is the big YET—when he puts his considerable oratory skills to good use, like when he questions and denounces the warmongering or the hypocrisy, chicanery, and cynicism permeating so many players in the US political and media establishment, he can act like an avenging angel, battling the devious forces of evil.

GILBERT DOCTOROW—When the war started, President Putin was hopeful to come to a quick understanding with the leading officers of the Ukrainian armed forces regarding capitulation and regime change. However, in a matter of days it became clear that the Ukrainian military has been thoroughly infiltrated by radical nationalists and is unable to act in the interests of the nation independently. It now appears that this type of analysis would be better applied to the United States of America. Only the senior generals in the Pentagon have their eyes and ears wide open to the Russian capabilities and intentions. The political classes, both Democrats and Republicans on The Hill, are lost in their own virtual world of unlimited United States power.
