The chances remain high (for reasons well explained in this article) that the Empire of Chaos and Lies, which lacks any honor or decency, may try a tactical nuke on some important target in Ukraine, Poland or any other nation or region designated by “the West” as part of their domain. The idea—just like they just did with the Nord Stream attacks—is then to shamelessly blame Russia. The West can get away with such things because it retains overwhelming superiority in the area of global disinformation, “soft power”, and because despite the erosion of credibility of the West’s official narrative in its own sphere, the majority of the captive populations are still confused enough to remain passive and go along with the rulers’ schemes.

BRIAN BERLETIC—The US-backed opposition in Thailand replicates in many ways the violence and intimidation the US sponsored in Ukraine from 2014 onward – just as Ukraine is meant as a proxy against Russia – a US client regime in Thailand would transform the country into a proxy against China. An alarming incident of violence where a Thai opposition leader publicly assaulted his critic is dangerously being portrayed as “heroic” by Western-sponsored opposition media to encourage further violence and intimidation – creating the same division and destruction throughout Thai society that is currently consuming Ukraine.

CAITLIN JOHNSTONE—The time to turn away from the trajectory toward nuclear war is now, not later. It’s bizarre how many people I get telling me “Well if nuclear war happens it’ll be Putin’s fault,” like that will be any comfort to them as they hug their family close and wait for a horrific death. There’s just so much sloppy thinking about the actual end of the world. People aren’t looking directly at this thing and thinking rigorously about what it would mean. What it would entail. This is understandable; it’s a terrible thing to contemplate. But we do urgently need to.

The BBC website draped itself in black, printing stories such as “Death of Queen Elizabeth II: The moment history stops,” while BBC News presenter Clive Myrie explicitly dismissed the cost of living and energy crisis wracking the country as “insignificant” compared to the news.
