CHRIS HEDGES—Liberals like Chris Hedges are almost always extremely efficient and eloquent in their diagnoses of what ails society. In this talk, Hedges provides, for example, a good anatomy of what constitutes the main working parts of the imperialist organism, currently managed by Joe Biden (the collective Biden, not the real, physical Biden). This, Hedges insists, is just an army of professional bureaucrats dedicated to the design and implementation of policies conducive to the perpetuation of a global, deeply undemocratic oligarchic cabal, with HQ in Washington. The problem with Chris is that his analysis does not advance much in the manner of solutions, aside from recommending extra-electoral mass mobilizations (something we certainly agree with). And Chris’s anti-communism and anti-Sovietism do not help matters much, either.

Keith Olbermann Welcomes Government Spying On Journalists
5 minutes readJimmy comments on a recent totally unhinged Russophobic rant by Keith Olbermann, who appears to have completely lost touch with reality. Olbermann, notes Dore, now typifies the thinking and behaviour of many liberals.

Who needs Republicans when we have a repulsive pseudo left?
6 minutes readHow much of an imbecile do you have to be to defend imperial wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc., as if they were wars waged in the interest of the American people? How do you begin to sort out the sheer ignorance and idiocy packed in that position? Yet here we have “patriotic” Democrats doing exactly that. And black, too. Which makes the insult even worse. Jimmy Dore is simply speechless.

A liberal’s “defense” of socialism (David Pakman response)
8 minutes readDavid Pakman is a liberal who claims that Marxism-Leninism is a failure and has nothing in common with socialism, while utopian socialism, anarchism and “democratic socialism” are fantastic successes. As his evidence he says “Orwell said so”. However, Pakman is not a supporter of any kind of socialism, he merely advocates for those things to steer people away from Marxism.

PATRICE GREANVILLE—For some time now Mark Ruffalo has stood out as one of Hollywood’s most acerbic critics of Israel. The latest event, currently in an official “cease fire”, an outrage clearly provoked by Israel’s policies originating in its Zionist vision for that region, made Ruffalo come out and declare that Israel was engaging in genocide. The response from the always hypersensitive Zionist lobby must have been swift and strong because within a couple of days Ruffalo resurfaced to offer a shameful apology. Obviously, as Jimmy Dore put it in his show a few days back (a rather long segment that has now curiously vanished from YouTube) Ruffalo was confronted with a clear ultimatum: apologise in no uncertain terms, eat your words, or else you’re finished in Hollywood. Ruffalo apparently thought career, wealth and fame were more important to him than principle. The upshot is this ugly episode now making the rounds, with a plethora of Zionists gloating over Ruffalo’s pathetic and clearly imposed cave-in. Too bad that Ruffalo failed the test. But then again it was always too much to expect a Hollywood shitlib to rise to the challenge. Principles are tested when the game gets rough, when a real price is to be paid, not when it’s easy and there are no unpleasant repercussions. For the nth time we see again that liberals can’t be trusted.
