PHILIP GIRALDI—Perhaps Tom Friedman might make an attempt to look more deeply into the seeds of the Ukraine war and might even consider Googling “Minsk accords,” “Boris Johnson visit to Kiev,” and “NATO Expansion,” but he certainly exhibits the type of judgmentalism that he has displayed for so many years at the Times while covering the Middle East, where he has finally been able to recognize “apartheid” after a journey of nearly fifty years during which time numerous crimes against humanity committed by his Israeli friends have been staring him in the face.

JIMMY DORE—If Dr. Cornel West hopes for his Green Party presidential bid to take off, he’s going to have to appeal to a wide swath of the voting public, including disaffected Democrats and Republicans, as well as independents. Whether he can achieve that objective by constantly beating the drums for trans rights and about white supremacy was a key bone of contention during his recent interview with Jimmy Dore.

FRED REED—Things are different, at first physically and then, as you begin to understand the place, profoundly. In any town you find a plaza, unlike any other plaza in any other town, and a church, unlike any other church. Both will be old. The local hotel will be locally owned, alive with color, idiosyncratic. Mexico was not designed at corporate. Nor was it designed by people whose interests were only money, efficiency, and the economy born of uniformity.

Why Only Suckers Trust America’s Major Media Any Longer
10 minutes readERIC ZUESSE—RFK Jr. is strongly against continuing the war in Ukraine (he’s the only candidate in both Parties who is) — this war that has brought hundreds of billions of dollars of additional sales to NATO’s armaments-manufacturers; and, so their ‘news’-media are overwhelmingly campaigning against him and for Biden to win the Democratic Party’s nomination.

PATRICE GREANVILLE—As expected, given their obsessive hatred of Putin, the US media and their global accomplices are already blaming the Russian leader for Prigozhin’s demise. This is premature gloating, to say the least, as explained below. And false marketing. They are giving us disinformation instead of legitimate journalism, which is the norm these days, as journalism or semblance thereof is rarely practiced in the West except when it relates to completely inane and non-political matters, such as sports commentary (way way too much of it), the weather, or the decadent and idiotic lives of obscenely rich celebrities.
