BRIAN BERLETIC—Today we talk with Li Jingjing, a Chinese journalist who has traveled across China to tell the story of the nation’s rise as well as its role within the wider world. In this chat, Li talks about the many deeply-inculcated biases an outright lies the West exploits to block the rise of China to her well-merited place among the natural leaders of humanity. In this video, Li explains how China raised hundreds of millions out of poverty, how Bejing developed Tibet, one of the most difficult places on earth to lay down modern infrastructure, how it brought Laos out of its geographic isolation, and why Chinese people respect authority and have such positive feelings toward the police and armed forces.

Exposing ‘Democracy NOW!’ as democracy never: deceit to hide dictatorship by the billionaires
14 minutes readERIC ZUESSE—[The formally known ‘historian”, but in reality imperialist propagandist] Timothy Snyder comes forth there with one lie after another, while McGovern fails to call any of it a lie, and only argues that Russia’s position is more reasonable than America’s is. So, the really core issues (pertaining to Ukraine’s having the nearest border to The Kremlin) are hidden from the public, instead of exposed to the public. The most core issue of all, in this matter, is whether what had happened to Ukraine in February 2014 was a democratic revolution as Yale’s Timothy Snyder maintains, or instead was a U.S. coup that installed an American rabid anti-Russian dictatorship taking over the country on behalf of the U.S. Government that McGovern fails even to assert to have been the case — though it was the actual situation there.

M.K. BHADRAKUMAR—The alacrity with which the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken debunked the Kremlin allegation, perhaps, gives the game away. It is in the neocon DNA to duck in such defining moments. That said, predictably, Blinken also distanced the Biden administration from the Kremlin attack. Earlier, the chairman of Joints Chiefs of Staff General Marks Milley also did a similar thing in an interview with the Foreign Affairs magazine disowning in advance any responsibility for the upcoming Ukrainian “counteroffensive”. This is the Biden Administration’s new refrain — hear no evil, speak no evil. No more talk, either, of backing Kiev all the way “no matter what it takes” — as Biden used to say ad nauseam.

Zelensky TOLD Rupert Murdoch To Fire Tucker Carlson?
1 minutes readJIMMY DORE SHOW—A few weeks before Tucker Carlson was fired, Rupert Murdoch reportedly spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. It’s not clear what Zelensky said, but it’s been well established that the Ukrainian government objected to Carlson’s opposition to U.S. support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. Guest host Aaron Maté and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss whether Zelensky had an impact on the Fox News network’s decision to jettison Carlson.

Tucker Carlson’s firing has sparked debate about the implications for actual free speech on the current regime, or similar oligarchic admins that may follow. It is important to consider the political and cultural fallout from this event in order to understand the impact it will have on our society and the freedom of expression we are supposedly entitled to.
