EDITORS—The panel discusses how a Yemeni drone got through, considering that several neighboring countries, like Egypt and Jordan, not to mention US and EU assets, are often deployed to keep airstrikes like these from occurring. The West appears confused about Yemen’s capabilities; they certainly have great ability to hide their military assets, and absorb punishment.

KARL SANCHEZ—As for China wanting to have the largest economy, with 1.4 Billion people, it ought to have the largest economy and already does if honest measures were taken. And if there’s to be a “World Leader,” that person ought to be the United Nations Secretary General, not some national politician. The Era of Great Powers is over and with it the Age of Plunder. Those who are incapable of evolving will be left behind as the world moves to the cooperative basis Nature will dictate that humans will need to adapt to.

THOMAS BALISTRIERI—Contrary to popular belief, the members of the Eistatzgruppen were NOT sadists. The S.S. made a point of weeding out sadists, those that enjoy killing. Himmler influenced the S.S., Gestapo and Eisatzgruppen that they were simply ‘doing their duty’ and had an opportunity to become a part of history, part of a 2000 year Nazi reign!
Thus, Himmler turned around the psychology of what the soldiers experienced, from, “I did horrible things to people’ to ‘What horrible things I had to watch in pursuance of my duties, and that tasks weighs upon my shoulders.’” (Arendt, Eichmann, 1963).

TELESUR—On Wednesday June 26, hundreds of members of the Bolivian Armed Forces had mobilized under the order of General Juan Zúñiga in the center of La Paz and surrounded the Quemado Palace, attempting to stage a coup d’état. Their attempt was quickly diffused by a combination of the swift response from Bolivian President Luis Arce to replace the leadership of the military, an immediate and unanimous condemnation by the international community, and most importantly, the overwhelming mobilization of the Bolivian people to the center of La Paz to defend their democracy.

LARRY JOHNSON—I was shocked to learn that the U.S. Government seized Scott’s passport today after he boarded a flight that would take him to Turkey and then to St. Petersburg. Scott had been invited to speak at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. I guess they will have him appear via Zoom. I am at the same Forum and am speaking in response to an invitation from the SPIEF 2024 organizers. This forum is a big deal — 25,000 people are attending from around the world. I suppose congratulations are in order to the Biden Administration — they are garnering more public attention for Scott and his message than he has received in the last two years.
