EDITOR—In-depth masterful discussion of capitalism’s current global crisis, increasing chaos, weakening of the ruling class, and the opportunities it presents humanity for its demise. Joti analyses the birth and maturation of capitalism, its inherent and incurable “contradictions” (such as overproduction relative to effective demand by the masses) that now threaten its downfall, and the tactical and strategic opportunities that “the ruling class in waiting” may seize to survive this imperialist crisis and emerge with improved institutions guaranteeing sovereignty, more democratic rule, the dismantling of the threat of war, and liberating progress in all essential directions.

As Western media drags its feet: Israel Is Routinely Shooting Children in the Head in Gaza.
22 Mins readDEMOCRACY NOW!—As the official death toll in Gaza passes more than 42,400, the true number may be impossible to know until Israel’s war is over. But medical workers who witnessed the carnage in Gaza’s hospitals are speaking out. We speak with Dr. Feroze Sidhwa about his op-ed in The New York Times that features harrowing stories from dozens of healthcare workers and CT scans of children shot in the head or the left side of the chest. The Times called the corresponding images of the patients too graphic to publish. “I personally wish that Americans could see more of what it looks like when a child is shot in the head, when a child is flayed open by bombs,” says Sidhwa. “I think it would make us think a little bit more about what we do in the world.” We also speak with Palestinian nurse Rajaa Musleh, who worked at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. “I will never forget the dogs were eating the dead body inside Shifa Hospital at the front of the emergency department. This will be stuck on my mind for my whole life,” says Musleh. “My message for the whole world: We are human beings. We are not numbers. We have the right to receive healthcare inside Gaza.”

EDITOR—We are living through a moment of social and political upheaval – one that has somehow aligned the Houthi rebels in Yemen, South Africa’s greatest legal minds and students across the wealthiest campuses in the world. They’re all fighting for Gaza, and against an increasingly isolated Israeli government and its Western backers. So are we witnessing a historic tipping point? Norman Finkelstein has documented the Israel-Palestine conflict for over 4 decades, with a particular focus on Israel’s actions in Gaza. As the son of Holocaust survivors, he became particularly critical of Israel’s use of history as a propaganda tool to shut down critique – something he documents in his book ‘The Holocaust Industry’.

Global South Sees U.S. Congress Hail Israeli Killer of 39,000 of Their People Mostly Women and Kids
by Jay Janson8 minutes readJAY JANSON—Today, Global South lives are still considered less important than the lives of white descendants of the conquering colonialists, who have retained a substantial amount of hegemony over most of the planet largely through powerful international reach media.
This difference in the value and importance of lives is apparent in the Middle East now. For example, the lives of a hundred Israeli hostages certainly are being given much more importance than the lives of 39,000 Arabs and the 90,000 injured, including thousands of amputees, and another thousand buried under the ruble of what was the cities of Gaza.
