So Le Petit Roi in Paris was predictably crushed in the European polls. He has called parliamentary snap elections, dissolving the Assemblée Nationale in an act of blind, puerile revenge on French citizens, de facto attacking French institutional democracy.

That doesn’t mean much anyway, because the lineaments of “liberty, equality, fraternity” have long been usurped by a crass oligarchy.

The second round of these fresh French elections will be on July 7 – nearly coinciding with the British snap elections on July 11, and only a few days before the slow-burning urban catastrophe which will be the Olympics in Paris.

Paris salons are ablaze with intrigue on why the little Rothschild stooge with a Napoleon complex is throwing all his toys out of the pram now because he’s not getting what he wants.

After all what he really craves is to become a “War President” – together with the Cadaver in the White House, Starmer in the UK, Rutte in the Netherlands, the Toxic Medusa von der Lugen in Brussels, Tusk in Poland, without having to answer to the French people.

Bigger things though are in play. Following the – auspicious – game-changing messages to the Global Majority coming out of the St. Petersburg forum last week, anchored on openness and inclusiveness, the BRICS 10 meeting of Foreign Ministers in Nizhny Novgorod carried the baton early this week.

Foreign Minister Lavrov stressed three key points:

  1. “The countries of the Global South no longer want to be dependent on the double standards of the West and its whims.”
  2. “Everyone knows that the BRICS countries already serve as the locomotive of the world economy.”
  3. “We [at the BRICS FMs meeting] stressed the need for consistent efforts to create a new world order, where the equality of independent states will be the key.”

Now compare it with the shrinking G7 meeting later this week in Puglia in southern Italy: the same old song, from a “tough new warning” to Chinese banks (“Don’t do business with Russia or else!”) to vociferous threats against the China-Russia strategic partnership.

As for U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell – the man who invented the defunct “pivot to Asia” during Harpy Hillary Clinton’s tenure in the early 2010s – he had already advanced that Washington will sanction Chinese companies and banks over Beijing’s relations with Russia’s military-industrial complex.

False flags and perfect symmetry

By several metrics, Europe is about to implode/explode not with a bang but an agonizing whimper anytime within the next few months. It’s crucial to remember that the snap elections in France and Britain will also coincide with the NATO summit on July 11 – where Russophobia-fueled warmongering will reach paroxysm.

The fact remains that the only way these “leaders” across NATOstan plus their lowly MI6 agent in a green sweaty T-shirt in Kiev will survive is by manufacturing a casus belli.

October will be too late: too close to the U.S. elections.

So be prepared for the Summer of Living Dangerously.

Meanwhile, The Bear is not exactly hibernating. President Putin, before and during the St. Petersburg forum, elaborated on how “symmetric” Moscow’s response will be to attacks by Kiev using NATOstan missiles – already ongoing.

There are three NATOstan members which are supplying missiles with a range of 350 km and more: U.S., UK and France.

So a “symmetric” response would imply Russia providing Global South nations with advanced weaponry – capable of causing serious damage to nodes of the Empire of Bases.

And here are the top candidates to receive these weapons – as extensively debated not only on Russian TV channels but also in the St. Petersburg forum corridors.

Central, Northeast, Southeast Asia: Afghanistan, Myanmar (these two were present in St. Petersburg) and North Korea.

Latin America: Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua (just look at the current Russian foray in the Caribbean).

Africa: Central African Republic, Congo, Ethiopia, Somalia, Southern Sudan and Zimbabwe (just look at Lavrov’s recent African tour).

Mr. Zircon says hello

And that brings us the jolly matter of a Russian naval force hangin’ out in the Caribbean, headed by the hypersonic missile-armed frigate Admiral Gorshkov and the Kazan nuclear submarine.

The indispensable Andrei Martyanov has noted how the Gorshkov “carries 32 Onyx, Zircon, Kalibrs and Otvet. These are the most advanced and deadly cruise missiles in history, with a serious combat pedigree. Kazan, which is Yasen-class SSGN carries also 32 VLS and, in addition, has 10 torpedo tubes which can shoot not just torpedoes.”

Well, this naval force is obviously not there to launch WWIII. Martyanov explains that “while both can strike all of the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. and Canada, they are there not for that reason. God forbid if it comes to real WWIII there are plenty of Bulavas, Avangards, Sarmats and Yarses to deal with this horrifying business. No, both Gorshkov and Kazan are there to show that they can reach any combat ship or strategic sea lift vessel carrying any military combat set from North America to Europe in case of some nutjob deciding to try to survive a conventional war with Russia in 404.”

What’s even more intriguing is that after spending time in Havana, the naval force will remain in the Caribbean for a series of exercises – and will be joined by other Russian Navy vessels. They will remain in these waters until the end of The Summer of Living Dangerously. Just in case some nutjob has fancy ideas.

Meanwhile, the possible escalation towards Hot War in Europe proceeds unabated, with NATO via its epileptic slab of Norwegian wood radically changing the established rules of proxy wars with one nonsense outburst after another.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are already capable, via NATO, to destroy both military and civilian Russian assets – oil storage, airports, energy facilities, railway junctions, even concentration of troops.

Everyone and his neighbor will be waiting for the “symmetric” responses.

For all practical purposes the crucial decision has been made by the rarified plutocracy which really runs the show: force Europe into war on Russia. That’s the rationale behind all the rhetorical kabuki about a “military Schengen” and a New Iron Curtain from the Arctic through the Baltic chihuahuas all the way to rabid Poland.

The plutocracy actually believes that afterwards they can buy the whole thing for a pittance while flies are still laying eggs in radioactive European carcasses.

Texac is Missing. Russell Bentley’s whereabouts unknown after 5 days of fruitless searches

Russell Bentley, quickly nicknamed "Texac" after he first touched Slavonic ground, has always. been a highly improbable character. A native son of Texas, and a self-declared Communist, gifted with more than his share of valor and audacity, and above all a man of action, he didn't have to meditate too long to figure what he needed to do when he heard about the US coup in Kiev in 2014, and the ensuing war by the new neo-Nazi regime on the rebel republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. Echoing the International Brigades, he simply packed his things and made his way at his own expense to the Donbas, via Russia. Bentley decided to fight for the Donetsk People's Republic after being moved by the actions of the Ukrainian regime forces. He expressed a strong commitment to what he perceived as a "battle against fascism", driven by the desire to take a stand against what he saw as "injustices in Ukraine".  Once there, to the surprise of many (in his 50s, he was certainly not exactly in his prime), the US Army vet offered his services as a frontline soldier and in the ensuing years was involved in several (by now) almost legendary battles in the first war between the young but tough little republics and the much larger but apparently tactically deficient (though still vicious) NATO-supported Ukrop army. Russell was a member of the Vostok battalion.

Russell honoring comrades

A few years later, having won the love and trust of the Donetsk people, he began to serve the young republic (now formally part of Russia) as an information officer. This was a natural transition, as Russell is also a gifted writer and the author of many articles describing his war experiences, (1) not to mention the fact the Donbas rebels needed a voice that could speak eloquent English to the rest of the world. At the more personal level, Russell also met a woman who became his loyal companion, Lyudmila. It is she who is now seeking the authorities' help to locate her husband. Fact is, as the war began again in 2022, Russell and his wife —with typical defiance—decided to remain in their home, a spot dangerously close to the Ukrainian lines and easily within the reach of shells and other nastiness the Ukies have been regaling the Donetsk population with for over a decade.

Rumble("play", {"video":"v4mpr45","div":"rumble_v4mpr45"});

Given Russell's well-deserved fame, and the morale blow it could signify to Donetsk if he were to suddenly go missing, it is not unthinkable that he might have been the subject of a special op to kidnap him or outright kill him. After all, assassination ops are one of Kiev's specialities. That seems to be the logic behind his disappearance. Yes, the odds are not good, but I just hope I am proven completely wrong about this. No matter what his detractors may say, Russell was a hero. Something of a rarity in a culture that doesn't produce too many of his kind any more.

Well, that’s a relief.  The Empire’s PR people came out right after the massacre at Crocus to tell us that it had nothing to do with Ukraine, much less with them.  They said they warned Putin that an attack was likely at a music event or something.  Of course, they couldn’t tell him where, because they didn’t know, you see.

The thing that comes to mind hearing The Empire’s solemn, bald faced denials of responsibility for the Moscow mass murders is the story of the man caught by his wife in flagrante, and as she stares at him, naked and erect, he yells to her, “Hon, it’s not me!”

I have no sound information on the Crocus horror, and so can draw no firm conclusions about it.  Anything I offered would be baseless opinion which, although very much in vogue among The Empire’s mouthpieces nowadays, does not make it past my Superego as a usable mode of operation.

Stating as fact that which cannot be verified or which is patently untrue, as in the case of most of what we are informed is real information, as opposed to the “mis”, “dis”, or “mal” types that our government is so intent on eliminating, is not a practice I can subscribe to.  I prefer to defer judgement and confess ignorance rather than to make assertions that are untethered to the reality they address.  Of course, I’m not your government.

What seems to be certain is that a few men of Tajik nationality killed over 140 people.  They were caught on the way to the Ukrainian front and are imprisoned with a number of their fellows who are said to have had some role in it.  That’s it.  There is no information on their motive, and only rumors as to sponsoring or backing, including some in our media speculating that Putin did it himself, in order,  they say—as in the Nord Stream blowup—to injure himself and his national interest.  The reasoning in The Empire’s press strongly resembles Medieval Scholasticism, or the headlines once run in the Volkischer Beobachter, but there it is.

The aftermath of the massacre is being met in Moscow with a deafening silence which the simple take to mean that it is being gagged down as a bad break that will be forgotten, but that ain’t necessarily so.  One can’t be sure, but a betting man would conclude there is deep, thorough investigation going on that will lead to sound conclusions and, perhaps, spectacular behaviors.

In contrast to the Crocus case, there seems to be no doubt that Nazi Israel took out the Iranian Embassy annex in Damascus, killing a leader of the Quds Force.  Iran has vowed to revenge the act, but again, there is official silence as the matter is investigated.

According to the latest data, at least 144 people were killed and 551 people were injured as a result of that terrorist act. At the same time, 95 people are considered missing or unaccounted for.

The prudence evinced by both injured states in exercising such restraint is both fortunate for the world and wise, since retaliation, however justified, is likely to bring on regional or even world war.  The fact that each attack was so violent and carried out on home territories—an embassy is considered part of its home country—makes the patience shown in responding to them amazing.

The quietly charged atmosphere around these provocative hits has a distinct resemblance to the tense, foreboding days in Europe after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914.  Before the horrendous bloodletting of WWI, there were a couple of weeks during which those who realized what threatened was cataclysmic held their breath in hopes of a rationality that didn’t come.  This is no prediction.  These grim events may resolve themselves in some way that avoids an eruption.  The nations involved, however incensed and insulted, may find a means of avoiding an arbitrament of force, but the fact remains that massive power blocs are in open confrontation.

What is worse is that The Empire, desperate from a string of losses and humiliations that only benefitted the War Machine—admittedly, the driving power of this sick, delaminating relic of a hegemon—and unable to face its own demotion from world boss to a sort of lethal raging granny, will continue to tempt fate with its advanced case of national dementia.  It will not relent until it gets the real war it seeks in which it will be, for the first time in its short history, thrashed within an inch of its life.  My, that will be a hard surprise to the great majority of braindead Americans.

Rhetoric can be wounding, but superior weaponry annihilates.  And The Empire doesn’t have it.  None of it.  Russia, in contrast, does.  The Empire is still basking in the glory of the incineration of Dresden and the battle of the Coral Sea.  It is as prepared as it can possibly be… for World War II.  Or even Korea or Vietnam…  But its mighty arsenal of yesteryear will be as ineffectual against hypersonics as Polish cavalry was against the Panzer Korps.

The wild card in all this is Nazi Zionist Israel.  The last six months have been as perfect a demonstration of the behavior of a nation that has not only lost its moral compass and threadbare cloak of civilization, but has even laid its rotting, repugnant soul open for the world to see, and smell.  One has to conclude that the word “Israel” must mean “murder” in Hebrew.  This psychotic entity attacked Iran directly and sees no reason to even lie about it, and the vicious affront is an act of war that demands commensurate or greater response.  And it will come.

Then, if Israel chooses, the dogs of real war can be loosed, and the range of complications becomes imponderable.  Once again, as always with Israel, Aunt Sam’s Empire is caught on its back foot by Zionist hubris, and will be pulled into any hairy stuff Herr Netanyahu precipitates.  Not that our geriatric politburo wouldn’t be keen to break a lance for our nation’s Zionist Jewish owners.  After all, as Nancy, Mitch and the whole Crone and Geezer High Command have vowed, it is—to paraphrase that old monster, George Wallace—“Israel today, Israel tomorrow, Israel forever!”

The bughouse lunacy of The Empire in its senescence is so stark that it would be risible if our lives weren’t tied to it.  But they are.
