EDITORS—Discussion focuses on a variety of topics: Ukraine’s “Kursk Invasion”, essentially a border crossing that has gotten gradually larger, with the involvement of a special forces brigade. With no actual strategic value, the incursion is widely believed (on both sides of the dialog) to be an exercise, once again, in optics, a p.r. stunt to get Kiev in a better negotiating position, raise morale for a virtually collapsing army, etc. Maybe it’s “Kursk 2.0” for the Germans. • EU tightens the garrote on Hungary and Slovakia, seen as “deviants” from the Western “globalist script”. • Another topic of attention is whether Ukraine is really near collapse, in which case its military capability should dissolve before 2025, or if the country, with stubborn support from Western neocons, will be persuaded or forced to fight on, and whether or not Europe is willing to sacrifice itself for the sake of the globalist capitalist class. • Meantime, the UK riots point to the threat and promise of the rising right movements and parties, many of which may refuse to be incorporated into the anti-Russia project, while still holding contradictory views toward Israel, which even hardcore neonazis seem to support. Still, dark rumblings across many Western countries, the riots in the UK, etc., signal that the near future may see mass challenges to the West’s puppet elites, whose rule, for the benefit of Washington, and the growing economic insecurity caused by capitalism, underscores the lack of pervasive sovereignty of the entire continent.

JAY JANSON—Today, Global South lives are still considered less important than the lives of white descendants of the conquering colonialists, who have retained a substantial amount of hegemony over most of the planet largely through powerful international reach media.
This difference in the value and importance of lives is apparent in the Middle East now. For example, the lives of a hundred Israeli hostages certainly are being given much more importance than the lives of 39,000 Arabs and the 90,000 injured, including thousands of amputees, and another thousand buried under the ruble of what was the cities of Gaza.

EDITORS—The panel discusses how a Yemeni drone got through, considering that several neighboring countries, like Egypt and Jordan, not to mention US and EU assets, are often deployed to keep airstrikes like these from occurring. The West appears confused about Yemen’s capabilities; they certainly have great ability to hide their military assets, and absorb punishment.

Editor’s Note: The depraved behaviour of Israel has been—and continues to be—so revolting, so beyond the pale, that its usual protectors, the corrupt Western political class and their media, have been forced to recognise this fact from time to time, if only to maintain a measure of legitimacy. Biden for example, pretended to intervene to force Israel to act with less brutality; the media, charged after all with reporting on basic reality, faced with such a colossal crime already discussed on the Internet, a crime already recognised by even the international tribunals, have also begun to present portions of the truth, obviously much too late and with great reluctance, while cushioning their narrative with all possible qualifiers (“Hamas brutal attack…yada yada, etc.).
