JACQUES PAUWELS—In 1943, after victories in Stalingrad in the spring and Kursk in the summer, it was obvious that, slowly but surely, the Red Army was on its way to Berlin. That is when the Americans and British, who had been sitting on the sidelines as a titanic war raged along the eastern front, decided it was high time to open a “second front” in France, so the Soviets would not defeat Nazi Germany and liberate all of Europe on their own – and reap the benefits of that achievement. While it must be acknowledged that, in the final year of the war, following the Normandy landings, the Americans and the other western allies did make a significant contribution to the victory over Nazi Germany, that triumph was due in the very first place to the herculean efforts and huge sacrifices made by the Russian and other peoples of the Soviet Union during four long years, starting on that fateful 22nd of June, 1941.

Politically, these solid gentlemen initially found a home in the “club” or embryonic political party of the Feuillants, subsequently in that of the Girondins. The latter name reflected the place of origin of its leading element, a contingent of members of the bourgeoisie of Bordeaux, the great harbour on the banks of the Gironde estuary, whose wealth was based not only on trade in wine but also, and primarily, in slaves.

ERIC ZUESSE—The U.S., in a sense, has adopted not only many ‘former’ Nazis, but the mantle of German Nazism — not as regards Jews, but as regards Russia and world-conquest in general: America is the world’s leading aggressive and imperialist nation. The EU is an important part of that operation and thus now equates Russia with Nazism instead of with having conquered the Nazis. Authentic European democrats will therefore abandon alliances with the imperialistic U.S., and will recognize — and honor the fact — that Russia is an important part of Europe, and was the main source of the victory against Nazism.

PHILIP A. FARRUGGIO—IN my recent interview with Dr. TP Wilkinson on his history of policing in Amerika, we learn that these original ‘ Dogs’ were called the Slave Patrols in the south. They were hired by the plantation owners to go and find runaway slaves and bring them back… for a bounty. After the Civil War local police in All parts of Amerika were used primarily to ‘ Keep watch ‘ on the factories and businesses of the super rich, to , well, ‘ Keep the rabble ( unions and striking workers ) in line’. This has continued throughout the decades, from the coal mining areas, the agricultural fields, factory assembly lines… anywhere that the super rich employ lower paid drones to punch out products for their enormous profits.

STRATEGIC CULTURE—Syria’s nine-year war and horrendous human suffering stems from the nefarious Western agenda for regime change in that nation. The US and NATO powers have pursued this agenda by covertly sponsoring terror proxies to do their bidding. Western governments have augmented the pressure on the Syrian nation by imposing economic sanctions and blocking efforts for postwar reconstruction. The European position is particularly disgraceful and self-defeating. Brussels is anxious over the repercussions from refugee flows to the EU yet the bloc imposes sanctions on Syria, hence ensuring humanitarian hardships worsen and compound, and acting as a push factor in displacing people.
