And Nick Brana of the People’s Party and Libertarian Angela McArdle are seeking to build just such a coalition to end the war in Ukraine, free Julian Assange, disband NATO and achieve any number of other laudable goals through a rally in Washington DC this coming February. Jimmy talks to Nick and Angela about building coalitions, making common cause and uniting for shared objectives across the political spectrum.

The betrayals of the Democrat party DSA-connected “Squad”, comprised of supposed populists such as Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), “AOC”, have provoked a great deal of disappointment and backlash among perennial believers in the progressive promise of the Democrat party. The same level of angry frustration applies to Ro Khanna, who represents California’s 17th District, the heart of the Silicon Valley. Still, few self-proclaimed “leftists” in the Democrat party catch as much fire as AOC, given her outsize personality and the many proclamations of anti-establishment posture that preceded her election.
